Aug. 21st, 2011 09:19 pmI am not going to finish this story for the Torchwood Big Bang in time for the rough draft deadline. I'm still going to hack away on it but it's longer than I originally intended, and, the big problem, is that my second year of law school starts tomorrow.
I still have sixty pages to read about the history and purpose of zoning laws before tomorrow. I'm taking the worst classes ever this semester. Civil Procedure: Jurisdiction, Constitutional Law: Personal Rights, Federal Personal Income Tax Law, Secured Transactions and Land Use Controls and Regulations.
Oh god, what have I gotten myself into?
I really, really need a beta for four Torchwood fics I have written. I'm not promising they're anything earth shattering, but they're quick character focused pieces I wrote to get myself in the right mindset for the big fic I'm working on. I've already put a request out on the Torchwood Writers Union, but if anyone has a working knowledge of the fandom and wants to help a sister out, let me know.
Miracle Day was particularly awesome this week. I was quite pleased. I also had issues with some of it, but those have been addressed by a lot of people. I still don't get why RTD refuses to use a canon bible, but whatever. I'll post some more on that probably one day during class.
