So it's amazing how quickly my <3 of Marvel comics has come back. Like hardcore.
I hadn't read ANY comics since high school. I only ever read Marvel, and I had my core favorite characters. Oh everyone likes Spiderman, so of course he was one of them. I loved X-Factor and Jamie Madrox too. My two favorites though, and I hadn't forgotten how much they were my favorite, were Quicksilver and The Scarlet Witch.
Now, before I get any "boo Quicksilver is the Marvel flash" comments please stfu. Dude is so much more and apparently, in the oh 6 years since I've read anything, went batshit insane. So did his sister. That was... surprising and, honestly, exactly what got me back into reading comics. Their storyline went insane and I went back and reread all of their old storylines and all of the new stuff. Now I'm branching back out into other series and characters I love (X-Factor!).
Phew. I think I couldn't be more of a nerd if I tried.
