Jul. 28th, 2011 05:12 pmWow. Poor LJ. I get used to using you again and then this ridiculous outage happens. I remember there was a 24 outage in... 2005? Something. When I was playing at a um, certain community on LJ. It was a huge deal. This is now been going on for almost three days. Crazy. Even more crazy is that LJ will work on my computer downstairs, but not my computer upstairs. Even after I cleared all cookies and browsing history. Also, it will work on Firefox but not Chrome. Wtf. I've made a dreamwidth account because I don't like how unreliable this is. I can be found here: http://firesnap.dreamwidth.org/profile . I don't have entries exported over anything because, well, LJ is being dumb. I also have invite codes so if you need any, let me know.
Anyway, if you're into fanfiction, or just somehow found my LJ and didn't realize I was... I've been compiling all of my favorite Torchwood fanfics into a delicious account. You can check it out here:

There's going to be a lot of Jack/Ianto and Team_Torchwood. My favorite era for stories is, surprisingly, that weird gap between Season 2 and Children of Earth. Jack and Team Wales just always clicked with me. They were the three with the most chemistry together. I call them Jack's Harem. Everything is tagged for your easy reading and comes with my seal of approval.
Also, last note on fanfiction, oh dear god, I'm signing up for the Torchwood BigBang. One fic: 15,000+ words. Wish me luck. No, really. Wish me luck. I am going to need a team of Betas just to keep me focused. I've already got the outline for the story finished though, so that is step one. I'm insane.
Finally, TV recommendation. I've been trying to get people to watch Misfits and I feel like people don't believe me when I say it's fantastic. I can't believe I hadn't watched it before Hulu posted the first episode, honestly. I watched two episodes on Hulu and was sold. I ended up downloading both seasons and absolutely fell in love with it. Nathan, you sarcastic bastard, I love you.
